With only 6 more weeks of winter left (Can you believe we are calling this winter?!), we are still able to spend time outside, including the playground!  The children are having a great time keeping active whether it is playing basketball, mumball, uncle sam, or capture the flag.  Slingerlands is always full of smiles and laughter!  We have also been starting to do tournaments both mornings and afternoons.  In the afternoon we finished our checkers tournament where Mason K. was our top checkers player!  Starting this next week we will be doing a Stratego tournament in the mornings.  We will continue these tournaments into the springtime.

As always, please remember that with the colder weather children must wear a jacket, hat and gloves in order to go outside.  When there is snow to play in the children will need to wear a jacket, hat, gloves, snow pants, and boots.
