The children and staff at Elsmere have been keeping busy and having a lot of fun! We have been creating awesome art projects and finding our scientists within by trying our hands at oobleck, snow creation, and much more! As the weeks go on, we are going to continue on with our science projects and creating our School’s Out Volcano!

We have also been keeping active by playing outside and in the gym. “Don’t Fall in the River”, has been a favorite as well as “Capture the Flag”.  We have been trying a variety of new games and the older students have been wonderful helping out with the younger students.

Our community service project has been a great hit and we thank you for all your support with donations to the Humane Society. The children were very happy to make cat toys to donate as well.

In the next month, keep an eye out for our “Be Kind to Animals” essay contest as well as our second community service project where we will make cards for the nursing home!
